Session 2: February 12 - April 2, 2009
Thursdays, 7:00-9:30pm

 

This program teaches how to meditate and contemplate the great themes and
stories of the Bible by using methods of prayer drawn from St. Ignatius of
Loyola's Spiritual Exercises, along with guided classroom meditation. This is
not Bible Study. It is praying the scriptures each day with the guidance of a
director weekly. The session will include a teaching in the large group and
spiritual direction in small groups of three to four. Time is provided for silence
and journaling. Bring a Bible and a notebook to each session.
